Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of DGbot (the "Service"), operated by Gyanesh Anand (sole proprietor), trading as DGbot ("we", "us", "our"), a business registered in India (GSTIN 10BVPPA9619G1ZO), Bhagalpur, Bihar. By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

DGbot is a software-as-a-service platform for building and operating AI chat assistants over your own knowledge base. Features available to you depend on your selected plan.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and be authorised to bind the organisation you register on behalf of. You must be at least 18 years old.

3. Plans, billing and Merchant of Record

Paid plans and credit top-ups are sold through our payment provider, Paddle, which acts as the Merchant of Record for these transactions. Paddle handles payment processing, billing, and applicable taxes; your purchase is also subject to Paddle's buyer terms. Charges may appear on your statement as "PADDLE.NET* DGBOT" or similar.

• Subscriptions renew automatically each billing period until cancelled.
• You can change or cancel your plan at any time from your billing settings; changes take effect as described at the time of the change.
• Credits are consumed per use as described on our pricing page. Plan credits reset each period; purchased top-up credits do not expire while your account is active.

4. Refunds

Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including: violating any law; infringing others' rights; uploading unlawful, harmful, or infringing content; attempting to disrupt or reverse-engineer the Service; or using it to generate spam, malware, or abusive content. We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms.

6. Your content

You retain ownership of the data and content you upload. You grant us a limited licence to process it solely to provide the Service. You are responsible for having the rights to the content you upload.

7. Third-party AI providers

The Service uses third-party large-language-model providers to generate responses. Where you connect your own provider key (BYOK), your use is also subject to that provider's terms, and their charges are billed to you directly by them.

8. Availability and changes

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features, and may update these Terms; material changes will be notified via the Service or email.

9. Disclaimers and liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. AI-generated output may be inaccurate; you are responsible for reviewing it before relying on it. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is limited to the amounts you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms. On termination your right to use the Service ends.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Bhagalpur, Bihar, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
